Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Android game Planet Evolution (package name com.sorinstudio.planetevolution) handles information when you play the game or make in-app purchases.
1. Information handled by the game
Local game information. Game progress, settings, selected cosmetic themes, and purchase-related preferences may be stored on your device so the game works as expected. These local preferences are not proof of purchase ownership.
In-app purchase verification. If you make a purchase or restore one, the game sends the relevant Google Play product identifier and purchase token through an encrypted HTTPS connection to our verification service. The service verifies the purchase with Google Play. It may store transaction metadata such as a cryptographic hash of the purchase token, product identifier, package name, order identifier (when provided by Google), purchase and acknowledgement status, transaction timestamps, and whether a transaction was marked as a test purchase. Full payment card details are handled by Google Play and are not provided to us.
App integrity and fraud prevention. The game uses Google Play Integrity to obtain an integrity token for purchase verification. Our verification service checks information associated with that token to help detect unauthorized or modified applications and abusive purchase requests.
Technical request data. Our hosting provider may process basic connection and security information, including an IP address and HTTP request metadata, to operate and protect the verification service.
2. How information is used
We use the information described above to operate the game, validate and restore purchases, grant cosmetic entitlements, prevent duplicate or fraudulent fulfillment, diagnose technical failures, and maintain service security.
3. Service providers and disclosure
We use Google Play for purchases and integrity verification, and Cloudflare to host the purchase-verification service and related transaction records. These services may process information necessary to provide their functions under their respective privacy terms. We do not sell purchase-verification information to advertisers.
Google's privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy. Cloudflare's privacy information is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
4. Data security
Purchase-verification requests use HTTPS. Server-side credentials are kept on the server rather than embedded in the Android application. Purchase tokens are recorded in our transaction database as cryptographic hashes for duplicate detection. No system can guarantee absolute security.
5. Retention and deletion
Local game data generally stays on your device until you clear the application's data or uninstall the game. Purchase-verification records are retained for as long as necessary to manage entitlements, investigate fraud or duplicate transactions, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request access to or deletion of information associated with your purchases. We will evaluate requests in accordance with applicable law and may need information sufficient to locate the relevant transaction. Certain records may need to be retained where legally required or necessary to resolve a pending dispute.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing of information associated with you, as well as other rights under applicable privacy law. Please contact us using the address below.
7. Children's privacy
Planet Evolution does not require players to create an account within the game. If you believe information relating to a child has been processed inappropriately, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the game's features, service providers, or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when we make material revisions.
